Are you running Outpost ATPs on your hybrid? That is the other tire I have considered. How are the MPGs?10/32 tire tread brand new is why. That's pretty lame when most decent ATs are at least 12/32nds. No 3PMSF rating either.

I have Rotiiva ATs on mine. There were a few other users with the Outpost APTs, though. Are you running Outpost ATPs on your hybrid? That is the other tire I have considered. How are the MPGs?
I believe that Tire Rack shows the Firestone Destination AT2 in 235/65r17 to weigh in at 28 lbs. If I actually get a MY23, I was considering going that route. Would love you see some pics of them in that size on a Maverick. Thanks for the heads-up. I believe the Toyo 235/65R17’s weigh 32 lbs. The Falken Wildpeaks in that size are 31 lbs. I *think* that the stock 225 Continentals weigh 26 lbs. Definitely a step up in weight, but I’m pretty sure it’s one of the lightest options.
Does anyone know of an AT tire that’s lighter than the Toyos or Falkens?
The highly-praised Wildpeak A/T Trail 225s are 11/32” and weigh 25% more than the Crosstrack ATRs.10/32 tire tread brand new is why. That's pretty lame when most decent ATs are at least 12/32nds. No 3PMSF rating either.
Let us know your impressions, I’ll give them a try this Fall on my Hybrid....Neither of those bother me much. I’m a 99% pavement driver, few adventures on the weekends. No real snow here either.
Those are standard touring tires, my experience is that Hankooks are some of the worst.....Check these out Tire Rack

Most tires are in the worst category, I believe the front wheel drive causes excessive wear due to uneven weight distribution. I have to rotate my tires on my crv every 4-5k miles or I will get excessive tire noise at around 6k. I saw the UTQG of 860 A A and 11+/32 tread depth and maybe going to 235's might satisfy All Terrain status along with being 24-26lbs. They probably would have to be rotated often, I suspect. I have 5500 miles on my lariat which has the OEM Michelin 8-9/32" tread. So it's time to check tire wear on it!Those are standard touring tires, my experience is that Hankooks are some of the worst.....

Wow I have added those to my list when I get new tires. 28lbs and 3 peak!I believe that Tire Rack shows the Firestone Destination AT2 in 235/65r17 to weigh in at 28 lbs. If I actually get a MY23, I was considering going that route. Would love you see some pics of them in that size on a Maverick.
Post some pictures of them when you get them on!I'm going to order continental crosscontact atr in 225/65 today. They come in at 25lbs. ZERO info out there about them. I'll be the guinea pig i guess. Lightest AT I've found.
Be sure to post pics when you get them mounted!Well in a turn of events I went Nokian Outpost APT 225/65/17. In the end they were about $150 less and seem to have good reviews. Not mounted yet.
