As usual, when someone types something, there is always a different answer. I am sorry for your demise. But if you would please go to the pages and threads of what was going on at that time and see the repsonses, you would see why I came to that conclusion. It was based on hundreds of threads from all across the country. If this is a wrong assumption, then hundreds of others are wrong as well. Again, I am sorry for your situation and did not mean do dispute what has happen to you.
I'm well aware of what other conversations have happened on this forum at that time. I can only assume you are giving Corporate Ford credit for the local Ford mechanics in some regions who DID try to solve the issue in April for a couple customers. Props to those guys for serving their customers well. For those few, your timeline might be accurate. But for the rest of us, while those few were fixing the problem, Corporate Ford was denying there was an issue up until they released a recall well over a month later. I imagine that is why our interpretations of this forum content differ.

My 2023 Maverick Hybrid XL has three recalls open:
#24S27 BODY CONTROL MODULE BCM SOFTWARE UPDATE
#24C01 INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER IPC ILLUMINATION
#23C41 TURN SIGNAL OUTAGE DETECTION FAILURE

I've held off on getting them done because of the isolated stories I've heard of hybrid failures after recall work was performed.

What do people think, should I keep holding off or just go ahead and get them done? Thoughts appreciated.
You should be fine on those recalls you listed. From what I understand it was 23E09 PCM update that caused "limp mode" problems. 24S33 is the new update to correct 23E09 (I hope, lol!)

I am having mine done this Thursday (6/20). I have 4 or 5. Chapman Ford Mobile Service is coming out, which is great.

I had mine done more than a month ago. No problems.

Had six recalls done this past week on our Mav hybrid that has been running great for months. Have not had a single issue since the recalls were performed.

Have had all recalls done no issues except dealer replaced headliner after the side curtain airbag recall because the door weatherstrip did not completely cover head liner for about 3 inches on both front doors.

Seems like driving with no brake lights (recall 24S27) is more of a hazard to vehicle occupants than putting it off til later. Once ya get rear ended at a traffic light, you'll probably realize doing the recall was a wiser decision. I had mine done asap, no issues. I told dealer that was all I wanted done, don't mess with anything else.

I have not had any of the recalls done yet. When they have a real fix for the fire issue I will let them do them all at once. The only issue I have had seems to be related to the low 12v no AM interior light. It is not happening since it got hot. Warm weather truck I am lucky to live in the desert!

No updates done and no issues. Unless I'm having problems, I'm not getting updates.

Better fuel mileage is due to summer blend at the pumps and warmer weather. I recently started getting better mpg too.

I'm in the same boat. I'm personally waiting until Ford recalls the defective cv axel issue 🤣

Got mine done about a month ago, after the gauge cluster died.

No problems so far, and I’ve seen the MPG bump also. (From 42 up to 45)
