My 2023 Maverick Hybrid XL has three recalls open:
#24S27 BODY CONTROL MODULE BCM SOFTWARE UPDATE
#24C01 INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER IPC ILLUMINATION
#23C41 TURN SIGNAL OUTAGE DETECTION FAILURE

I've held off on getting them done because of the isolated stories I've heard of hybrid failures after recall work was performed.

What do people think, should I keep holding off or just go ahead and get them done? Thoughts appreciated.
I had recalls done with an oil change. Then I got a notification that there was a recall for the recall. I figured I would get it done the next time it went to the dealer .

It posted before I was finished. I went on a trip and the truck stopped us 7 times on the interstate. Not ideal. I had the recall done when I got home and took another trip last weekend with no issues. Ford doesn't do these to keep the service departments busy. Get them done or you may end up on the side of the road.

If it were me (my 24' has only had the one recall so far - 24S27B) I would get this re-recall done as quickly as possible as I would not want to experience the error message light show on my dash and have the truck force you in to limp mode in the middle of nowhere.

Get them done whenever possible as recalls are important. We keep ours up to date and our dealership has the do it at your residence service, which is easier and much faster than scheduling service at the dealership.

I did, see the next post. I evidently hit enter accidentally.

Got my recalls done today. Mobile service, very convenient. Have not driven it yet but hope to drive it later to make sure all is well as I have a long trip next week.

I got mine done by a reliable dealership. Touchy brakes improved significantly along with better gas mileage. For me an increase of 3-5 mpg. I consistently get 45 (previously low 40s) and got my first 600+ mile tank 2 weeks after the fixes.

I just checked my recall notices and they were not the same codes as the ones that were done on my truck on Wednesday. I'm guessing that was because the updates had been up dated since I received the recall notices in the mail. This was probably to solve the problems that people had in the past months when they had the recall work done,

No issues on ours.
Same here. Three recalls, all fixed in my driveway. 23 hybrid. I think my mileage has increased but hard to compare due to a variety of road conditions.

The only problem I experienced after the recall’s was hyper flashing of my rear turn signal lights. I replace my original bulbs with Lasfit led bulbs before recall’s with no issues. Afterwards, experienced hyper flashing. Lasfit even sent me, free of charge, new and improved bulbs but the hyper flashing still continues on and off.

I had the recalls done at the end of May. I have a 23 Hybrid Lariat Lux and I waited a few weeks before responding. I've had no issues since the rebates were performed. Hoping it stays that way.
