For some reason this is happening. At first I was scheduled for the week of 10/11 then I got two emails in one day letting me know that itā€™s been pushed back until the week of 10/25. Iā€™m expecting the truck right around thanksgiving, hopefully.
Me too, and hoping for Thanksgiving as well.

I have counted eleven different Hybrid orders that had their production date moved 2 to 3 weeks later than when they were originally scheduled for. Some posted here others posted on different threads that they were moved.

Eight were moved from 11/8 to 11/29, one was moved from 11/22 to 12/6 and one only said delayed 2 weeks.

Of the eleven only six specified the model. Three were XL and the other three were Lariat.

Not one of the eleven specified XLT.

My Hybrid build is still scheduled for 11/8 and it is a XLT.

It looks like Ford is bunching like builds together with 11/8 for XLT and 11/29 for XL and Lariat.

If that is what they are doing then this Thursday 10/7 we may see more Hybrid XLT's scheduled for 11/8.

Is it weird that the EcoBoost costs $1,085 more than the hybrid? I would have thought it cost more to produce the hybrid with its additional systems. Maybe the EcoBoost engine itself is expensive to manufacture.

I ask because I wonder if Ford makes more money off each EcoBoost -- lower or same production cost but higher price. Maybe that's why they convinced themselves they would sell more EcoBoost.

Since Ford has canned all but the Mustang, they do not have an entry-level vehicle these days. So a Hybrid Maverick is it.

At 11:28 on Saturday night I received an email moving my build date back to week of Dec. 6th from Nov. 22nd. Lariat Lux

Ford head ā€œWe wonā€™t be able to build the Hybrids on time, what should we do?ā€

Ford Analyst ā€œDont release Hybrid EPA yet, delay all Hybrid builds 3-4 weeks in November. Most importantly STARCOMMTRY1 needs to be moved up. Also give him another build date. Lastly, Mamboman777 doesnā€™t get oneā€

Ford head ā€œSay no more, DONE!ā€
This is hilarious. Nice work.

I couldn't fit it exactly in the format, but this memes to you!

This is probably how it really went down. šŸ˜†. Iā€™m glad you guys can take jokes in stride as I want everyone to get their build.

šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø It's just a truck. And, truth be told, I'm not going to own it for at least 6 years, the bank is going to own it. Why not laugh about it?

I couldnā€™t agree more. I do hope you are getting a great 6 year APR? Credit unions usually do better at that term length than Ford can do. I think Pen Fed has a 2.4% vs Fords 4%.

I'm not even going to worry about that until I have a VIN. Then I'm going to shop EECU and Ford to pick the best of the two. In the mean time, I'm auto drafting an additional $300/month to simulate my car payment and build up a down payment. The other variable is how much will my current car be worth when my Maverick actually arrives? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Not worth my time right now because I don't even have a VIN. Let's face it, right now, all I've got are a $500 hole in my wallet, a copy of my DORA, and memes. šŸ¤£
