I can't wrap my mind around the fact that people ordered a vehicle that had what they really wanted and because it wasn't instantly available chose to switch to something that they didn't want just to get a vehicle sooner. I ordered what I wanted and will wait for it, not one for instant gratification.

Your VIN number comes in the "scheduled for production" email. Have patience. It may be a while.

Hi Kristen, you may as well get comfortable, especially if you ordered a hybrid with the Co-Pilot and Luxury package. I ordered on June 19th and am still waiting.

Yes I have a signed copy of the Order Summary of the XLT with my additions adding up to 24300. Just was confused ab the 20.

I think you have a real problem if you have a Hybrid order at Priority 20! Ford has said they're scheduling only retail hybrids (priority 10-19) until they get caught up. So they're not going to even look at your order for MONTHS!

You need your dealer to change this or enter a new order with a retail priority code.

Update: Just ordered it 9/30 so was confused but Dealer confirmed it was a mistake on their end and moved me up to 14! A lot better! Thanks for the help.

My understanding is that they don’t generate a VIN until you are scheduled for production. Ordered mine beginning of Sep and don’t have a vin yet

I ordered XLT FWD Hybrid 8/27 waiting....

1. 20 Aug: placed a hybrid XL order/deposit; received direct Ford confirmation.
   
   [Order modified by dealer to delete splash guards to avoid delays.]
   
   
   
2. 31 Aug/1 Sep: updated (& corrected) order to delete spray-in bedliner because
   that was likely a 'resource constraint' delay item. Also updated order priority
   level to 10 "just in case".

Just realized my priority code is Retail 19. Ive seen other threads saying 10 is much better. How does a dealer decide this? Can I ask them to move me up?
