I have to admit, I'm thinking about ditching the hard rollup tonneau in the interest of getting my Maverick before next Spring.

The only thing holding me back is the sweet looking Ford emblem when you rollup the cover all the way.
Funny! I also dig the Ford emblem in the spray in bedliner from the plant! Since the spray in bedliner comes with the XLT LUXURY PACKAGE, I'm in no big hurry!

Remove it and just order it separately through your dealer for installation later.

Still not scheduled today. That pretty much cancels a 2021 delivery. Went to look at a Maverick at a trainer session today. Wow what a disappointment. The vehicle I sat in was a XLT lux package. It was not a hybrid. The interior is OK. I felt a little claustrophobic, there is room for me but no extra width. The seat fabric felt a little rough. probably hold up well. I have pics but they are not good due to the lighting I mention below. Just threw white balances way off. Didn't stay long as there were so many people there and no hybrid to look at.

The place was packed with people over 50 years old and Little old ladies cranking the power seat up all the way, to see if they could see to drive. The trainer was kept busy checking on peoples hybrid orders. The lighting where they had it sitting was a mixture of skylight and LED lighting in the ceiling. On the exterior the lighting made good quality pics nearly impossible. Talked to several folks with hybrid orders and they all struck out today. Lots of grumbling about the lack of communication from Ford. If I am not pulled on the next major scheduling, I will look for something else. I'm done living in Limbo, because this is not a vehicle worth waiting 6+ months for IMO. Hey Ford how about some swag for Maverick people, like you gave to Bronco orders stuck in Limbo
I'm sorry you had such a disappointing experience. Sounds like Maverick might not be the truck for you.

Try this stuff, always works for me. Also drive around for about a hour before your smog to get it nice and hot.

Believe it or not, the engine oils with the titanium additive has been shown to reduce smog too (that is from researchgate.net and not marketing at least).

From what I’ve read the dealer has made a mistake setting your priority to 80. 20 to 80 is builder stock order numbers. 10 to 19 is customer retail orders.
I just spoke with the dealer. They confirmed my order is retail with a priority code of 02. It was listed otherwise during the initial order I placed so that they could put it in the system at the time, and then edit it afterward.

You've got a problem. 80 is for dealer stock orders. 10 thru 19 are for customer retail orders. Suggest you and your dealer (because he needs to learn) watch this video HERE.

The likely "holdup" is the hybrid - scheduling is currently weighted towards the 2.0.
I have a funny feeling Ford wants most of the first Mavericks you see to be premium models.

You'd think so, but it seems as if many of the constraints are contained within the premium models. I'm just trying to remain patient and get my minimums in my order.

Glad you're all set. Seems strange to me that they would enter it as a dealer stock order and then edit it for retail customer.... I've seen the Ford WEBDO system on the computer at my dealership, it seems pretty simple to use; no real need to enter it as a stock order first....but whatever, glad it's all good to go for you now.

I pulled the trigger, and removed the tonneau off my order. My order hasn't been previewed, yet....still at a 19 priority code.

Sending good vibes out into the universe tonight. Here's hoping Santa, tooth fairy, great pumpkin or whatever mythical figure leaves a pleasant email from Ford in your inboxes tomorrow morning.

Well from what I've seen, another week of not getting an email. I don't think Chapman has anything pulled this week. 😭 Starting to feel like I'm never going to get scheduled. Might have to cancel and sink a ton of money into my dying frontier.

Today may be the day I ditch the First Edition package so I can also ditch the tonneau cover so that theoretically I could receive a scheduling email in the next three months. And YUP, that was a run-on sentence.
