I had an issue after the software update/recall, and I've never used Forscan. Truck was fine the rest of the day, then the next morning it crapped out. April 11 will make four weeks it's been at the dealer, and Ford has yet to let them know how to proceed. At least they provided a loaner so I...
Can you do the same for me? I had the software update done two weeks ago, the truck has been at the dealer since then waiting for a solution, and as of yesterday they still hadn't heard from Ford on how to fix it.
I'm in southeast Kentucky with moderate hills. I have the tires that came with the truck ('22 Lariat hybrid, 33k miles). I have a 36-mile commute each way for work, about half of which is highway. I keep the sunroof raised and the rear window cracked (for fresh air), and from about March-October...
I had some deep sleep issues as well, including the passenger Intelligent Access not working. I finally got a battery tender and battery monitor. Since then, the passenger door has been working fine.
(I think my biggest culprit was a dashcam that I had plugged into the OBD port, causing it to...
I've been dealing with the Deep Sleep/passenger door handle issue as well. Both 1 and 2 are happening to me but FWIW, the passenger handle lock no longer works at any time.
I've tried turning the lock function off/on in the settings, and it doesn't help (although it used to fix the problem). I...
For a few weeks, I've had an issue like several of you that when I turn my truck off, I soon get a FordPass alert saying "Remote Features Disabled". I've also had an issue recently where the passenger-side keyless entry doesn't work.
In the past, turning Keyless Entry off and back on would fix...
I spent way too much time looking for the second pigtail that Ford never gave me hahaha. Thankfully someone on here had posted an eBay link so I was able to go there.
You’re very welcome! By the way, in case you completely butcher the plate (like I nearly did), here’s that part number to keep handy:
Blanking Plug #13D712 ($13.23)
I used a 1-1/8 woodboring bit since it was all I had on hand at the moment. Best I recall it was a little more snug than I would’ve liked. A step bit would be more ideal. Had to shave the backside flush as well to make room for the nut.
I grabbed an extra 12v adapter on eBay and put a plug on each side. Takes a bit of cutting on the cover, but it fits about as clean as it possibly could. The USB port turned out great; the cover on the 12v side got marked up a bit when I was modifying it.
I didn't think it would. I'm mainly more curious if there'd be any reason to put 303 on the dash plastic. I'm not a fan of Armor-All and the other high-gloss products.
Oue Ellie went through a chewing stage her first year or so, but after that she hasn't chewed anything. The only other issue we had was getting her housebroken; seems like it took longer than it should've but it was probably us lol. Beyond that, she's a perfect little lapdog. Loves being held...
I have 4,500 on my Lariat FE hybrid, and I absolutely love the interior. The seats feel great and the overall feel and design make it fun to drive.
Having said that, the plastic does make me a little nervous about scratches. I've had my dogs inside once (a half-crazed Goldendoodle and a lapdog...
I work for a powersports dealer. We routinely charge over ADM simply because we’re able to get it. If there’s something we can’t sell with ADM, we sell it at MSRP and sometimes lower. No one who has ever bought from us has complained to us that they were screwed or anything similar. It’s the...
