I ordered a hybrid in the beggining of July and have a build date of 09/20. I made sure my deadlier upgraded my retail code.
DO you have a VIN #?

Let's you and him fight... :devilish:
What? We both basically state the same thing that the posts currently showing build dates November and later are bogus as none of them have VIN numbers assigned. Thus they are not scheduled for build.

The 10/18/21 was recently updated and the buyer states that they have a VIN assigned so that date is legit.

(1) It was a joke -- poking fun at the fact that you were both so specific and certain -- thus the :devilish:.
That often happens here on the forum and gets worked out down the line.

(2) But I get your point. Who among would deny that 10/11/21 and 10/18/21 are basically the same day?

Schedule dates encompass somewhere in the week so 10/11 extends to 10/17, although don't know if Hermasillo builds all 7 days. That's why I would be suspicious of any build dates that aren't a Monday.

I have a 6/28 order confirmed date but not even a VIN # yet. :(

And yes it's a last edition (cough) hybrid. Only optional outside the packages are all weather floor mats.

As you say, these are "week dates" -- 10/11 extends to 10/17 (and 10/18 extends to 10/24, etc.)

FWIW, I think @fordvideoguy said you get a first email with the "week date" (like 10/11 or 10/18) and then, later on, you get a second email with the actual "day date." He was making the point that only when you got the "day date" could he estimate (only estimate) the delivery date.

My sales person said all weather mats are a constraint.

Weather tech has some for the Mav. I have weather tech mats in my Focus and they are awesome. Lasting me all the years of the car they probably will last more than the focus.

I changed my XLT Lux to Lariat Lux yesterday and got rid of the constraining mudflaps.

Hmmm...they weren't when I ordered mine. I ordered mine without the carpeted mats. The mudflaps were so I didn't add them. If they are now then oh well, will just have to wait longer.

Hopefully you got through at the time of your order. That's what I heard from my sales guy yesterday. He said that they will give you weathetech mats at delivery for $113 for front set. They said they are different design due to plastic shortage so they are using different mixtures of compounds.

He might be wrong because it seems Ford keeps dealers in the dark just like the customers really

I ordered mine on July 19 with no word other than a confirmation.
Don't worry - I worked for a boiler manufacturer and the business is run exactly like an auto manufacturing plant. Here are some facts that will make you feel better about waiting:
The first run of a new product encounters all kinds of delays, changes on the fly, modifications, etc. to produce the first month or two of production.
By the third month, all of the bugs have been worked out and components are flowing into manufacturing. A BOM (bill of materials) has thousands of small components. If you are short a few simple items, you cannot create a finished good. Also, by the third month, any modifications have a permanent fix, engineered and tested to work.
After the first 90 days of new product production, everything becomes rather seamless. The workers have more repetition and experience on the assembly line that equates to better built equipment after 60-90 Days.
Component issues are the biggest obstacle we all face.
I think Ford did not forecast enough % of Hybrids that would be ordered and that probably affected their ordering of Hybrid components. Sounds like someone should have remembered they made it the standard drivetrain!

Looks like no build scheduling emails went out yesterday (Thursday 8/26)?
