Well that's unfortunate hopefully Ford can figure it out.
I'd rather them figure out and fix any issues they might have. Maybe we will get the 12" inch screen and lose the cubby. Or maybe they will give us manual windows instead who knows?
LOL that is how Ford can build the maverick.
They just need more advertising sponsors cause they keep getting them constraints...
Next we are going to see new balance partner with them because that's how they designed the XLT interior
Lol here we go again Ford cannot deliver in time nor get their stuff together... More and more feeling I get this is going to be a paper launch hubbled together out of random parts.
I might have to pull out of my order as I am having issues with my Ford Focus that I am not trying to dump any...
I drove a wrangler unlimited Rubicon and I'd say the Bronco has more space width wise. Though headroom is less than hardtop wrangler. That's hardtop vs hardtop.
I also found Broncos interior very sturdy and heavy duty though slightly a bit rough around the edges. I guess that's the point. Much...
I'm 6'5" and I daily Ford Focus hatch with plenty of room. My car also has a moonroof. Nobody can sit behind me but I can scoot forward if needed.
This should be plenty of room. I sat in 2021 escape and ranger the other day and they had plenty of room for me. Full size Bronco felt a little...
I would love to get the Jimmy. It's very small and funky looking. Like a baby G Wagon.
They sell them in Mexico. My only concern would be safety as it's very small and lacks many safety features. Also lacks creature comforts but who cares its so cheap
Sure I love going fast as everyone else except here we have total gridlock as well in these times.
We have way too many people from Cali driving like crazy. I can tell with all the dumb people cutting in and out of traffic thinking they will end up ahead and instead they end up in somebody's...
My problem is people drive incredibly fast and dumb over here. Especially ever since the whole pandemic started the speed limit went up unofficially to like 75 to 80 from 60.
Merging on highways could be a problem in the maveric when semis and all the large trucks with over 300hp smashing in...
I don't remember any of that from all my research as well on this forum and reddit.
Only thing I know is that Lariat will have an acoustic windshield which they changed to noise reducing windshield on the website.
My focus titanium doesn't have an engine cover but it does have insulation...
I don't think they are quoting the correct torque number on the mav as it's just the torque figure of gas engine.
Rav4 Le FWD hybrid - 214hp - 3690 lbs
Escape Hybrid - 200hp - 3566 lbs
Hybrid Crv - 212hp - 3708 lbs
Hybrid mav - 191hp - 3674 lbs
That is a concern when looking at these numbers...
Hopefully you got through at the time of your order. That's what I heard from my sales guy yesterday. He said that they will give you weathetech mats at delivery for $113 for front set. They said they are different design due to plastic shortage so they are using different mixtures of compounds...
Will my hybrid mav get additional 200hp with hood scoop(means supercharger right 😉?) and 10000 lbs of downforce with that spoiler?
Those accessories look super corny like straight out of autozone. I am glad altezza style (clear) taillights are gone out of style
You know the dealer will have...
My sales person said all weather mats are a constraint.
Weather tech has some for the Mav. I have weather tech mats in my Focus and they are awesome. Lasting me all the years of the car they probably will last more than the focus.
I changed my XLT Lux to Lariat Lux yesterday and got rid of...
Yes I'm antsy about lack of communication and transperancy from Ford. My dealer is getting zero info on the Mav. I showed him this forum yesterday and he was blown away by the info we have gathered here.
It seems Ford is lacking communication with their sales people. My sales guy did tell me...
That's crazy. That's just a car payment on the Mav to spend on gas alone granting you don't put money down and don't qualify for incentives... I just can't fathom some people having a high car payment, high gas expense and insurance. You roll 3 together and it's more than some mortgages.
Wow that's crazy. I thought I don't drive much.
We have two vehicles now and I went from once week on gas to maybe twice a month tops.
I am hoping with the mav I can go down to one time a month. My focus is not very gas saving at all...
I live around Seattle in PNW. Lots of hills, constant rain and sometimes a snowmaggedon happens.
We also have mountains that get tons of snow. We also have probably the worst drivers in the nation if not the world. They start crashing into barriers and others as soon as a sprinkle drops. Even...
Might be about right. I think with Toyota hybrids they are limited on the speed you are driving. I think same for insight. The insight when the battery is charged you are rolling around town up to 35 mph on the battery.
I also think that for us to get peak gas milage with the hybrid we need to...
