I'm beginning to think some of you guys just chat on here to hear your teeth rattle!!!
I ordered a Maverick Hybrid on day one in September, got email almost instantly from Ford, truck was ordered...3 months almost to the day Email truck being built week of December 19 th... week later e mail moving up a week to December 12th..
On December 22 nd. Got email Truck was built and on the 30 th. Of December my Maverick Hybrid was being shipped to my dealership and will arrive of week January 17-23rd..
So four (4) months to order New Maverick Truck Hybrid, loaded, I think is pretty normal in my history of Ford, and can't wait to fly home to pick it up by end of this month... ROAD TRIP...
I would say, too, you're lucky. Our dealer had trouble getting the site working due to site crashing on 9/15. Our order went in on Sept. 16. Email confirmed order submitted. Haven't heard a word since...

If it makes things any easier for you, Ford has said they will not be rolling over MY23 orders into MY24. If it doesn't make the cut, you start all over.
That is a bit of a misquote. They said they would not provide any price support like the 'private offers' given to 2021 orders for the '23 model year. They did not say anything about rolling over '23 orders to '24 either yes or no. The assumption is that they will in some manner roll over any unbuilt '23s to '24s but at '24 pricing.

55k 2023 hybrid orders and maybe 10% have even been scheduled at this point and most of those were 2022 carryover orders. Why do you think Ford started allowing drivetrain order changes? So you get your truck in 4 months and you think that’s the norm? Read the room.

So, I am a 22 hybrid rollover with a week of Jan 23 schedule. Ford has recently told me that I am scheduled for Jan 24. Is getting a specific date a sign of increased likelihood of build? Has anyone else gotten a specific date and NOT had your Mav built that day?

It's a very good sign. It may move one more times, but almost certainly will be built.

I sent my dealer a build sheet mock up a couple of weeks before the Maverick order banks opened making it perfectly clear how I wanted my truck to be optioned out. I emailed my rep early 9/15 to remind them that they should be able to put in the order that day. While they tried to get the order in on 9/15, they could not. They did however get my order in about 5 or 5:30am on 9/16 (Both of us get up really early & were back & forth on email getting the details sorted & confirmed). I got the confirmation of order email from Ford later that morning. My truck was built 12/22 & shipped 12/28. Project delivery is 1/16 - 1/23.

This order has gone shockingly better so far, than I anticipated. I ordered an F150 Powerboost Hybrid in 2021 & it nearly a year to get built & delivered. Maybe the 2nd time is the charm.

My truck build date moved back a couple of times, but the truck has been built & shipped now. I'd say that you are in good shape, if my opinion matters.

Well, I don’t get it. I place an order in September of 2021 for a hybrid XLT with Lux package. They teased me that it was going to get built in December and moved the date three times. Then nothing. Dealer said they rolled it over to 2023. Still nothing. No email. I called Ford and was told that it is indeed in the system so my dealer did it properly. They just don’t seem to want to take that order and build it for us.

I think Ford will eventually do some kind of "rollover" to MY24 for unbuilt MY23 orders. It will be different from this year's, let's hope. I do not believe they would just let those potential sales just go away.
Highly unlikely. Rollovers, while done with the best of intentions to take care of those waiting the longest, are also part of the drama/problems. Imagine rolling over a 22 to a 23 and seeing others get built before you. Happens a lot.

I am truly sorry to hear that you have not gotten your truck after waiting so long. There almost seems to be no rhythm or reason as to what order gets built, or when. Who really knows what is going on, as much of the queuing of orders & scheduling is done behind the veil of secrecy. I would bet that your dealer has little or no allocation, if I had to guess as to the cause of your delay.

That is not what they said. They stated that they did not currently have plans to "roll over" 2023s to 2024s. That's it, that's all they said. They did not say they were not going to do it and they did not say you would have to start all over. They didn't have plans to roll over 2022s to 2023 a year ago either. For anyone following this Maverick debacle we know Ford doesn't actually plan anything, certainly not a year out.
