Aside from the fact that PPF is literally an order of magnitude more expensive than a hood deflector, PPF only protects against light debris, but does nothing to change airflow over the windshield, leaving your glass vulnerable. Which is why I got both PPF and a deflector for my truck, to cover all my bases.I'm honestly surprised they're still around these days and don't ever see him around my parts I would invest in quality PPF before a a hood bug deflector.
