In the console near shifter there should be a pull. Should be under a small removable plate.A little rushed , dead Maverick blocking moving truck
Reading this it looks like you still need power for the procedure to work.
With a jump box or a jump from another vehicle, those are really your only options. The truck needs power to engage/release the parking brake and shift out of Park. Jumping it should have it fully drivable (at least until you turn it off when it might need jumped again). Use the jump post under the hood, do not connect directly to the 12V battery under the rear seat. See your manual for guidance on jump starts:Battery died and I need to move my hybrid out of the driveway… any suggestions?
Thanks
And some people have a wife/girlfriend, children, elderly parents, a job or two jobs, sick friends, a life…The Owners manual was not on his phone
Temporary Neutral Mode allows the vehicle to be kept in neutral even after it is turned off. That's not OP's problem.
Manual park release tether isI actually answered the OP question. So I would say my post helped. Thanks though.
This should do the trick - but you may need to jump the Maverick to fully unreleased it.Battery died and I need to move my hybrid out of the driveway… any suggestions?
