How many of you ordered a Maverick without even test driving it?

Ordered on faith , sight unseen, 9-20-2021 (Happy Birthday!)

Sat in an EB in November of ‘21 and deflected my Salesman’s offer for a test drive with “I’ll wait until I can drive the Hybrid engine and tranny”. Still waiting…

My Father is probably spinning in his grave, I violated at least 2 of his Rules: bought a car in its 1st production year AND bought it sight-unseen w/o a test run.

Maybe it’ll arrive by Halloween. Lots of faith in very trying times!

Nope, at the time they only had an Eco Maverick on the lot and I couldn't take it out for test drive b/c it was already sold. So, I only sat in it and then order up a hybrid.

I would never buy sight unseen or without test driving 1st. Don't want to be disappointed and not love what I was stuck with. Was fortunate my dealer knew my interest and called me Sept 2021 when a Ford trainer arrived on site and invited me down to check it out. Alto Blue Lariat w/all options. I was able to crawl around inside, outside, under hood and entire truck - but not drive it. He called again early October when they got a XLT, ECOBoost, AWD FX-4 I was able to drive and really liked it. Before that I had driven a 2022 Edge with same powertrain to make sure I liked the ECO AWD too.

Told the dealer I needed to take care of some business before ordering and came back to order Dec 14, 2022. I have been checking in regularly with him as well as using Ford CS and Tracking site. Dealer texted me I had a VIN back in July, and again today to tell me it was in Production and had the Window sticker up finally. Thinking maybe I'll have a nice Christmas present for myself this year

Ordered a 2023 Maverick XL (Ecoboost AWD) yesterday. I've seen one on the road and I looked at one at the dealer, but didn't sit in it. My 2011 Ranger needs to be retired and the Maverick fits the bill.

i ordered a lariat hybrid 12 months ago, 4 months later i rented one off Turo… for me it’ll be an upgrade.

As far as I know, which might not be much. It might be dealer related or regional. I was the first 2023 order at my dealer.

I ordered from Morrie's Ford in Okemos, MI. Not once did they try any markups. My son and I ordered 22's and we were fortunate to get them in 10 months and my buddy ordered a new bronco. All came in and went out at msrp. I asked once if they were going to mark up and they kept there promise. Aaron, Matt, or anyone would be great. When I order my next one it will be from here.

Bought 2 hybrids without driving one. I did see an Ecoboost at the Philadelphia Auto Show and got to sit in it. I fit well, had a 14 year old Honda, and I have not had a new car since 1990 so I pulled the trigger. Almost bought a third one but my daughter ordered a Toyota Corolla Hybrid instead. Looking forward to receiving the first one in October. 2nd one is a 23 for my wife. If it doesn't get built then will look to a 24 or something else. Both of us working from home so not doing as much driving before and probably could have bought an ecoboost.

Went to the dealership and they had one on the lot... but wouldn't even let me look inside.. You know, Ford dealerships doing Ford dealership sh*t.

But I'm sort of a glutton for punishment and went back to the same dealership. Spoke to someone else. And she was way more helpful. So I decided to order the car from her.

I didn't get a chance to even get inside of one much less drive one. I figured if I don't like it, I'll drive it and sell it used for not much of a hit since used car prices are out of hand.

I ordered my Hybrid XLT without ever seeing one in person. Of course my dealer had none to see at the time of order.

I'm very glad I made this decision. Love the truck, all though wait period was too long!

I did with no regrets. Liking the XL EB so much I ordered a 2023 XLT Hybrid too.

You will love it. at 7k miles and 8 months. with the cooler weather my MPG is going up around 40 mpg atm in a mix of rural driving. This is our second Hybrid first was a Prius, it has over 200k atm and still going strong
