My Lariat had 55 miles on it when purchased. When I was leafing through the paperwork it had 36 on it when landed. Is this common for all Hybrids.

Mine had 10.1 n it. The paperwork said 9 but I know the saleswoman also drove it down the street to fill it with gas. So it adds up.

There is also another thread about this where owners found a little index card somewhere on their truck (don't remember if it was left on the dash or in the glove box) where it stated the vehicle was randomly selected for a quality control check. Those vehicles had close to 30 miles on them I believe.

It's one thing to buy a new car off the lot, knowing that it has been test driven by other potential customers, but I won't be thrilled if mine is delivered with a bunch of miles on it when I've waited 6-7 months for it.

Bullshit. They’re driven out of the factory. They’re driven to a temp storage lot. They’re driven onto a rail car. They’re driven off a rail car. They’re driven onto a transport truck. They’re driven off a transport truck. And, in your example, driven into a showroom at a dealership.
