Thank you.
Bad Samaritan answered that back in post #10
Sorry about that. I’m pretty new here. Got to get used to reading all the way to the end of a thread before I reply to a post. Thanks for the grace!😁

The initial run of 2025 Mavericks (Job 1) will go through a "QC" evaluation as per Tim Bartz at Long McArthur Ford's You Tube channel. Check it out. They will be delayed until mid December or early January.

EDIT: Tim has responded in another forum this evening (11/27/24) that there may be other issues blocking going into production or shipping . The only way to know is to contact Ford.

This tracks with the reports that new models will be delayed several weeks for QC to cut back on the recalls that have plagued Ford in recent years. Sorry I can’t find the article.

"In Production" doesn't mean much. If you think that means it is winding its way thru the prodection line and will pop out at the shipping dock tomorrow, nope! It could be a week, or a month, or longer. Once "Shipped", it could take 2 weeks to 2 months to ship it. Depends on where your dealer is, as well as other logistics almost nobody understands. Straight answer: nobody knows.

My experience with my 2024 was, once Ford said it was "Shipped" it took only two weeks to get to Connecticut. My dealer said it had to be a World's record!

Mine and everyone else's is still in production from the beginning of this month. Mine updated to in production on the 6th of this month and hasn't updated since the 20th. Apparently there a up to 6 week hold on them but Ford hasn't said that for sure so believe what you what to believe on that. Ford chat told me December 8th-14th and it still says in production this morning and still no window sticker. So I'm guessing late December early January at best. I'm in South Arkansas as well so I will get it pretty quickly after they put it in a train.

Is that the actual VIN? I'd have thought that's like posting your SSN.

According to the Ford Video Guy, when it says "in production" WITH a Date, it means the vehicle is going down the assembly line which usually takes 1 day and then it goes to various shops for the options to be installed.

Things were tight back in '23, and my dealer gave me a high priority!

Ford says that means exactly that:

They are lying. Mine was "in production" for weeks , and we all know it does not take more than a day or two to build a truck from raw steel and all the components brought in from outside. My sister's Ranger was "in production" for about 2 months. No production line moves that slow!
