It's embarrassing that none of the videos I've watched today have mentioned the horn. I don't want to wake the dead or call undue attention to myself, but I'd like someone to pay attention when I use it.
I'm sure one of our members lucky enough to have taken delivery would be happy to provide us a quick video. Honestly, I didn't even think about this until the thread was made. Now I need to know!

I'm actually embarassed to use the horn on my Civic. It's pathetic. I just let people cut me off and am like, "oh well".
As a current Civic Hatchback owner, I agree. I am embarrassed to hit the lock button twice after I park it.

To add to this, when you lock the vehicle with the FOB, do you get a horn confirmation or a wimpy, barely audible electronic beep like the Toyotas??? These things matter!
I would prefer just a light flash and not some overly annoying semi-horn honk notification -

Mine doesn't even use the horn when i lock it. It does this light little beep thing (i think from the dealer installed alarm). My apple watch has louder notifications.

Like others have said, this is how I find the car, not with the panic button. If I'm at home, friends house, residential area, I hit lock once so I don't disturb anyone. But the horn when you hit it twice is much more useful than a small chirp when you're trying to find the car at the store, theme park, etc.

This will be the first car where I've ever had an option with the technology. I'll probably forget I could even do so until 3 years after I have the car.

In this year, 2021, we still have telephone poles and can't program the sound of our car horn! The future.

I had a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4. Big van until I hit the horn the first time. I was so ashamed. I think they put a VW Golf horn on by accident.

If you wanted to hear what the horn sounds like:

(Time 11m50s)

Ha! just got the the horn part of the video (after posting in the reviews thread) and came here to post the same. It's a great "in the wild" use of the horn.

I like the idea that the lights flash but there is no sound the first time you hit the lock button. It's always annoying to me when a car makes a significant noise when all you want to do is lock it.

As for the horn... I don't really care too much about that. I've probably hit my horn 2 or 3 times in the last 9 years on my current car. I don't even know what it sounds like.

Fun fact the Civic Type R sounds even more high pitch. (I drive one now) the amount of laughs I get when I get a cool car honk acknowledgment and I honk back with thank you.
