Horn Sound

Just looking for some assurance from the folks receiving delivery. Please tell me that the horn sound is a typical Ford horn and not some cheesy Subaru, Toyota or Honda wimpy horn. It's the little things that drive me crazy. I might have to trade it in if it sounded like that. lol.

To add to this, when you lock the vehicle with the FOB, do you get a horn confirmation or a wimpy, barely audible electronic beep like the Toyotas??? These things matter!

What I'd give for the 'Dixie' horn as presented in the made for TV Movie WW & the Dixie Dancekings. Every 'Dixie' horn that I have heard is not nearly as throaty as that one. True, it was probably a movie thing, but that's what I want dammit.

Ford's usually just flash the light on the first lock press. If you press again it will chirp the horn as well. Ford actually recommends this if you need to locate your vehicle in a parking lot instead of just mashing the panic button like most people do.

Exactly why I was wondering! We have to move a lot of rental cars where I work and every time I get a toyota key I cringe because I can never hear the small beep in our huge lot and the panic button is just obnoxious...

I'm actually embarassed to use the horn on my Civic. It's pathetic. I just let people cut me off and am like, "oh well".

It's embarrassing that none of the videos I've watched today have mentioned the horn. I don't want to wake the dead or call undue attention to myself, but I'd like someone to pay attention when I use it.
