What is this? IIRC its a three piece kit installed by Ford for $360
Ah, this will get you into the dealerships it how about the grocery store ,??This will allow the car in the dealership.. but how about the grocery staie???
It was an option to add PPF (paint protection film) for the hood and fenders that has since disappeared from the online order forms. There was speculation on if it even covered the entire hood or just a portion of the fron of the hood. What is this? IIRC its a three piece kit installed by Ford for $360
It only covers a about 5-6 inches of the front and has a noticeable edge and gap from the limits of the panels. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...er-the-protective-film-option.1718/post-33496It was an option to add PPF (paint protection film) for the hood and fenders that has since disappeared from the online order forms. That's a really cool idea!Aftermarket film protection and a solar panel once i can confirm the dimensions.

Did you check Ford Accessories? I seem to recall that there's a low profile deflector for the Maverick. Also someone on the forum posted a picture of their Maverick with one installed.I am wanting to use a deflector as well but have had zero luck finding one for the Mav.
I think I’ve searched all the normal locations on the net. Nada!
I did check. It doesn’t show up any longer.Did you check Ford Accessories? I seem to recall that there's a low profile deflector for the Maverick. Also someone on the forum posted a picture of their Maverick with one installed.

Thanks
I thought that hood deflector would look clunky but it is a great look in the fx4. Think I will pick it up for my cactus after all.
Only bought two Ford products upon ordering: hood and window air deflectors. I do 50 miles of commute at 80 mph on the same freeway as a bunch of other commuters and delivery trucks kicking up rocks and debris, so the goal was to avoid some of those rocks and car parts from bouncing up to my hood and windshield. I like the way they break up the color as well.
Thanks! No, just varies description entries. Where did you find a part number?https://www.oemfordpartsfast.com/oem-parts/ford-deflector-vnz6z16c900c
Did you use this part#? vnz6z16c900c
I have checked the accessories web site and found the hood deflector is back. . Just an FYI. THANKS!Thanks! No, just varies description entries. Where did you find a part number?
A word of caution - as I was reading through this forum about a pronounced hood shake, I found a post where Ford acknowledged that the hood air deflector may be a contributing factor. I'd be curious if someone with NO hood shake added a hood deflector and then started to experience hood shake, or vice versa.I thought that hood deflector would look clunky but it is a great look in the fx4. Loving the a51 as well!
I think that solar panel thing sounds awesome.Aftermarket film protection and a solar panel once i can confirm the dimensions.
