I thought I didn’t have the hood flutter issue until I drove into a 40 mph headwind. The TSB fix is to install a self adhesive foam block piece at the rear of the hood. I have driven this same windy stretch several time in other vehicles and none of the hoods moved at all. No saying they can’t replicate the issue because they would have to drive it 110 mph to do so 😏. It goes in Monday for airbag recall and this known TSB issue.

Mine already has a foam piece under hood. Fixed on MY23?

Realiving an old post here, I always noticed a little flutter in the top driver corner of the hood and never thought much about it. But after driving across windy North Dakota this week and getting passed by oncoming semis around 65mph I seriously thought my hood was going to fly off, more than once! Scared the 💩 out of me the first couple times.
Does this TSB actually fix the issue or would it be a waste of my time?

I also added some weather-stripping along the sides of the hood too. Still, doesn't entirely fix it and you can see it happening occasionally, but it's better than it was. I wouldn't say it's a waste of time at all. It definitely helps, but it's still not great. I mostly added the weather stripping on the sides because I noticed A LOT of water getting in, especially at the wash. Some is fine, but when it coats the entire engine bay, not cool.
