I haven't owned it very long but the splash guard in the front seems to scrape on every curb around here. My Honda Element never had this issue.

I keep pulling in to work or other places and then I hear that plastic scrape. Seems like it's only about 0.5" too long for most curbs. A 1" lift would probably solve it.

And for reference that curb in the picture is not a very tall curb.

Yeah, I have the same issue. Putting 245's helped some. It used to be worse! But I think final relief will be when I get a 1" lift on the front. I want it to have a more level front end anyway. I'm not big on the raked look, myself. I may even go with a 1-1/2" lift. But the back end height is exactly where I want it.

Thanks for the thread!!

My fix for that problem is to back into the spot.

Theyre so easy to remove. Might help.

You can remove that little flap in about a minute.
Sorry - maybe not clear from photos, the little flaps aren't the main issue, it's the actual bottom part of the bumper that is scraping before it even gets to the little flaps. But yes the little flaps hang down pretty far as well.

I'm considering putting a lift on mine when it comes in. I want to see a few more with them added first before deciding though.

Well, after driving a sports coupe that is low to the ground for the last 11 years, I have learned to stop the nose before I get to the curb (was tough to do after having a full size truck for 15 years prior when you just stopped when you bumped your tire on the curb) ;)

One of the main changes to the "Rattler" version that was leaked was a re/designed front end bumper/valance to make the clearance a lot better

I think it just needs the 1” front lift to level the truck. I saw someone Who did just that on here and it looks great and it’s useful
