Would a 1" spacer lift kit get you 1" ground clearance?

When increasing clearance/reducing droop due to added load, I would consider using an air spring kit instead of spacers. Air springs will bring the ride height back to normal by increasing spring rate and allowing adjust-ability rather than just lengthening the struts as a spacer kit would. The increase in spring rate will have the added benefit of improving ride and sway.

However, I'm unable to find an air spring kit for a FWD Maverick. I can only find the Air Lift brand kit for the AWD drivetrain/suspension. I seem to recall some discussion from MTC members using air springs with FWD in the past.
Thank you for that information, I really appreciate it. Excuse my ignorance but, what does the air spring kit consist of? When I search online, all I see is bolts and washers. Is it something similar to air bags?

If it is, I'm not looking to go down that route. I'm looking for something simple that will give me about an inch or 3/4" lift.

I found these load springs while searching online that claim to give the rear about an inch lift. I'm still debating if I want to give this a try as I want to keep my stock springs on and not having to worry about taking the stock springs off and putting away more junk (car parts) in the garage. I hate having items both in my garage and inside my house that I will possibly never use (that's why I got rid of the wife). It stirs up my OCD.

You're looking for something simple, and honestly I don't know what would be simpler than an air spring kit, but the load springs should work as well and give you a higher spring rate, making them a better choice than spacers. The air spring kit won't stir up your OCD with extra parts lying around, and the main benefit with them over springs would be that they're pressure adjustable with varying load.

If you don't want air bags for some reason that's fine, It's just a suggestion I thought I'd throw because they will do exactly what you're trying to accomplish simply and cheaply.

Either way, you'd likely get a better response to your questions if you'd start a new topic on this rather than continuing someone else's 2 year-old thread.

Thanks again for your assistance. I don't know if you answered my question regarding what the kit consist of. Does the air spring kit work in conjunction with my factory springs or is something that works with an entirely new system?

Cost is not an issue for what I am looking to do. I just don't want to remove and install a totally new system just to get half or an inch of lift.

Here are some videos to show the Air Lift springs. They are air bags that fit inside your coil springs. Again, I can't seem to find any info on these kits specific to the FWD Maverick:
