Heated side view mirrors

OK, I love having heated Sideview mirrors. But mine turn on automatically and I’m wondering how to turn that automatic on feature off. Any ideas?

Pressing the button should turn them off even when max defrost is being used.

Right there. Pretty simple The Amber LED will be illuminated if they're enabled.

The computer turns them on based on ambient temperature, or if you use MAX defrost. Other than pressing the button to turn them off, there is no way to do it with the in truck settings. There might be a way in Forscan, but that's outside my knowledge set.

On the other side of things, has anyone added heated mirrors from salvaged parts yet?

If the heated mirrors, steering wheel or seats come on when you're remote starting the vehicle you can change that setting in the vehicle settings using the dash display and steering wheel controls to navigate to the remote start settings.

As others stated if you use MAX defrost they will come on. When this happens and you don't need or want them on it's a simple matter of pressing the button on the control panel to turn them off.
