Last week I bought 3 sheet of plywood from Home Depot and brought them home in my Maverick.
I put the tailgate in its 'higher' position, which lines itself up with the same height as the fender wheel well arches and loaded in the plywood.
Using the tabs on the tailgate I strapped down the plywood and off I went.
Overall impression: loading and carrying 4x8 sheets of plywood is easy. I did add a red, plastic flag, as the plywood does extend past the tailgate.
If you have any concerns about transporting 4x8 sheets of anything in the bed of your Maverick.....don't.
Unfortunately, I didn't think about snapping a photo of the loaded plywood until I'd unloaded it.
