Truck goes 2 days without driving into battery saver and less than a week for deep sleep, all updates done dealer bench tested battery twice and it has passed.
Fist 6 months it took 2 weeks to go to deep sleep ( sometime I travel on business and drive other vehicle)
Not sure if this is what you guys are seeing but it's super annoying

Fix it yourself and be done.......

This shouldn't be the case, my wifes mazda 3 and my Ram can go weeks and still maintain over a 12v. Mines goes 1 or 2 days and drops to 11.7, 3rd day 11.63 and triggers battery saver

I have a 2010 Prius on it's second 12v battery. Car is driven once every 3-4 days. Absolutely zero issue with no starts etc ever in it's lifetime.

This is a Ford Maverick issue (and possibly other models as well) and they need to get on this. I have kept my Mav in my garage for the past week (not driven) hooked up to a 600mah battery tender and it's still in battery saver mode.

You buy a brand new car you should never, ever have to worry about it starting. I drive a 28 year old car 200+ miles each way to work a few times a month because I don't worry about being stranded in it, meanwhile the Mav sits in the garage.

Ford will not admit to a BMS issue. Their answer is to drive it more. My other vehicles do not have this problem. For now, I put my Mav's battery on a battery tender once a week.

Our 2022 Maverick Lariat hybrid just sat in an unheated garage for over 9 days and it started just fine. The temp in the garage hovers around 34 degrees even though the outside temps have been well below zero.
We do not use FordPass and the Wi-Fi is not connected to anything, if that means anything.
Hope you find an easy solution.

I am studying this issue on my Maverick now and looking to get my hands on a DC power monitoring device to log the actual drain while I start disconnecting different devices on my Hybrid Lariat fully equipped. I believe the secondary starter/charger motor in the drive unit does not supply enough DC power for cold weather use with the comfort features and deicing driving short distances. I am retired and like most older people don't get into vehicles everyday and drive 50 miles. The starter/charger motor only can charge while the vehicle is moving. One of the software recalls where for the O2 sensor heater. I have a feeling the O2 sensor heater is on full time now adding to the power load.

Did the vehicle fail to start after receiving this message or are you just annoyed about receiving them?

The generator in the hybrid is more than twice the size of the alternator in the EcoBoost.

There is more than enough generating power to power everything in the truck, plus police lights and sirens at the same time, if equipped.

The problem is only while parked with truck “off”.

Not necessarily true. I have found no specs on voltage and amperes output of the Hybrid drive generator. True it may have plenty of voltage/ amps to power everything at once, BUT it may also be draining power from the battery or have very little amps to deep charge the battery while driving. The battery is drained possibly 30 to 50% when the vehicle is parked and having very little reserve to sit cold with the active electrical components to drain overnight, quickly puts the vehicle in deep sleep mode. This is why I am searching for a DCV data monitor to track the actual voltage and power drains while they occur over time. I hope to publish a report once I can get the data..

Try the Battery Management System reset. This solved my deep sleep issues :

1. Turn the key to the ON position
2. Pull the High Beam lever 5 times
3. Step on the brake pedal 3 times
4. Turn the key to OFF
5. Turn the key back to ON
6. Look for the RED Battery Icon to flash 4 times. (three plus a short 4th)
You should be good to go.

I have the specs. They are also buried in these threads somewhere but I find the search function not very helpful usually.

The value is 265 amps at 15v.
4,000 watts at 15 volts.

However, it’s really 32,000 watts capable at 220 volts.

Your 12 volt charging: 25 watts to 100 watts typically.

What is your precise question?

The amount of power needed to recharge a 12 volt battery is trivial.

Trivial.

If it’s not doing it well, someone in engineering messed up, or the stock battery is crap. Or both. There’s also loose or intermittent connectors possible.

Wasn't everyone praising the the maverick hybrid is based on those 500k mile NY taxis escape hybrids....bulletproof...bull$hit.

Engineering = likely fixed by software update
Stock battery crap = with work, Ford could remedy with some increased cost
Loose connections = where is the question. That we will never know
BMS = did the legendary escape hybrid have these issues ?
FordPass \ overall data collection = possibly as these are the first things to get disabled once in saver mode

Deep sleep is the dumbest thing Ford could have made customers aware of. Gives people ZERO confidence.
