Yes, my is fwd 2 k with 4 pinWhat's not entirely clear in this recall is whether it's just for 4k tow units with brake controllers or all Mavericks equipped with 4 pin 2k or 4+7 pin systems.
OP the info in your signature indicates you have a FWD EB with the 2k 4 pin base system is that the case? I'm not seeing this with my VIN yet at this point.
This info contradicts the OP's initial post.. My Ford app also shows the 26C10 recall now.Remedy SOFTWARE IS AVAILABLE TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS RELEASED SOFTWARE FOR 26C10.
Ford dealer just called me and set a mobile appointment for a 30 minute software update at my home tomorrow. I guess the recall fix is now available for my 2023 FWD EB with 2K tow.
Both. The abvance notice I read mentions vehicles with Brake Controller, it will affects Braking function as well as brake lights. What's not entirely clear in this recall is whether it's just for 4k tow units with brake controllers or all Mavericks equipped with 4 pin 2k or 4+7 pin systems.

Yes, this became clear later, since I got the notice yesterday.Both. The abvance notice I read mentions vehicles with Brake Controller, it will affects Braking function as well as brake lights.
The software fix is available right now for the 25 and 26 models. However, the fix is not available for the 22-24 models yet. When I log into my dashboard from the Ford website the Recall notification is there. However the app on my phone shows 0 recalls. CarFax sent me a notification but nothing from Ford yet. I have a 24 Eco with 2k.
