Got the recall for the trailer MODULE, Remedy not AVAILABLE to Q2

parts are not available right now, what do that mean

It is actually a software update. The update is available for the the 25 and 26 models now but not the 22-24 models yet.

As of last check it was not an OTA update - not sure why not since it's a small and fast download.
Would certainly save Ford a ton of money not having to reimburse dealers for travel and programming.

My dealer brought the mobile truck out to work yesterday and updated mine. Took all of 10 minutes.
Not a brag but more if a chuckle, my job is literally a professor in the Ford ASSET Auto Tech program.
Oh the grief I got in jest from my coworkers and students for having to have the dealer "fix" my truck.

What's not entirely clear in this recall is whether it's just for 4k tow units with brake controllers or all Mavericks equipped with 4 pin 2k or 4+7 pin systems.

OP the info in your signature indicates you have a FWD EB with the 2k 4 pin base system is that the case? I'm not seeing this with my VIN yet at this point.

I have a 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid 2K towing - I received this recall notice on my Ford App and had the option to book an appointment which I did - the fix is in for the 26C10 recall…

Fix is available now. Had my first oil change last weekend and they took care of the Trailer ECM recall. Apparently, the other recall for the instrument Panel Topper is available now only for those with the 8 speaker B&O, which I have, but I've scheduled it for later. Just worried that when it gets fixed that I'll start having rattle noises, which I have none right now.
