What do you mean by push button entry?
A XL does not have the push button entry on the door for a 150.00 the dealer will put the push button entry on your door so you don't have to use your keys or leave your keys in the truck go hunting, play in the snow or whatever and don't have to worry about losing your keys just push the code and get back into your truck. Hope that helps.

This would be a first for Ford. I ordered 251 days ago on June 19th. So there has many people put in front of me already. I think I have a better chance of seeing God do the Macarena then I do at getting my truck anytime soon.
I understand your frustration, but the scheduled builds reported by the members here over the last three months clearly shows the order date matters a lot. For hybrids, anyway.

Nov 9th hybrid order confirmed here and I expect to get pushed out to MY23. It is actually a relief for me as it gives me more time to save up $ and see if any further cats burn up etc.
Also I am a good DIY mechanic and have a barn and Harbor Freight tools to keep my old used cars going.
I do understand how some younger folks who live in apartments and have one vehicle are in a higher desire for a newer reliable vehicle though. I remember those struggling days well. I hope those 2021 June, July and August orders go thru soon.
It will be nice once we get past these growing pains and talk more about the truck itself .

According to a video Tim Bartz just put out, those whose truck order gets pushed to 2023 MY will retain their original order date. Therefore, these orders will be at the front of the line, ahead of those who place orders when the 2023 order bank opens up in August.
for a second there I thought "good news" there actually would be something tangible like free upgrade to sync 4 or free maintenance for 2 years to compensate loyal customers that did not skip out on their orders.

I have no issues being pushed to MY23 as long as the packages don't change in a negative way. If they drop options, I'm out. I ordered exactly what I want.

Yes I'm sure parts will still be an issue for the 2023 orders, but at least you know you'll be at the front of the line.
You mean the front of the line like the people that were in the front of the line last year in June and July, and still don't have their trucks? No thanks. Ford's allocation system trumps all.

Ok so still in a queue that potentially is constrained for their build and would get waitlisted over new 2023 orders that did not have constraints. So nothing really changes other than the model year of their vehicle. Oh and now new orders added to the mix...

I dont know Maybe it's good to get pushed to a 23. Hopefully get some of the bugs out, Maybe some new colors, Price price lock-in? Maybe a couple more options. I don't know I've got an XL eco boost all-wheel drive 4K tow package 360 Copilot and push button entry ordered January 15th 2022 from Tim so I'm pretty sure mine will get pushed to a 23 and that's all right with me.👍
Any changes to an order MY22 to MY23 might revoke the price guarantee.

It is unlikely a negative change would take place. Ford will (likely) make small adjustments to MY23. Things I expect to see: quality improvements, 60/40 rear bench, 10 inch monitor, new colors, and some safety features. It’s possible those are negative changes to you, but the majority will find them positive or insignificant.

It has been stated before that Ford will price protect those 22MY orders. However, if options change and you want to take advantage of those you will have to pay for those.

Edit: Tim had gone over this several times. @fordvideoguy
They only said they will price protect order made before the Dec. 26, 2021 price increase. THEY NEVER MADE ANY COMMITMENT TO PRICE PROTECT ORDERS REMADE FOR 2023 MODELS. DON‘T EXPECT PRICE PROTCTION ON THAT!

What good does it do to be able to just get back in the truck. YOU STILL NEED A KEY TO START IT

No sir. They have said all along they will honor the original order pricing.

Review his last video Episode 28.

Read the original memo. It says the customer has to “work with his dealer” to convert his 2022 order to a 2023 order. “Working with a dealer” means working out a price. It says nothing about price protection.

You leave the key IN the truck. I do this everyday when I go to the Gym and use the keypad to open the door.

And before it's mentioned, yes if someone were to bash the window in, in a public parking lot and search for and find the key, they could drive off in it. Chances of that, probably super low. Hasn't happened to me in 15 years.

While your order date isn't the only factor that determines when your truck gets built, it's still an important factor. For example, Tim Bartz shared that their only hybrid orders which have been built thus far have all been ordered prior to Sept. 1. The good news is that if your truck doesn't get built in the 2022 MY, you don't have to get in line for a new order date (i.e., your order date will place you ahead of all those who order when the 2023 order process begins).

Ford's allocation system doesn't jive with who is in line first.
