Any changes to an order MY22 to MY23 might revoke the price guarantee.

It is unlikely a negative change would take place. Ford will (likely) make small adjustments to MY23. Things I expect to see: quality improvements, 60/40 rear bench, 10 inch monitor, new colors, and some safety features. It’s possible those are negative changes to you, but the majority will find them positive or insignificant.
Has there been any rumor of an AWD hybrid being available in ā€˜23? Would think it would be an eventual option being that the escape has it, plug in awd hybrid like the Corsair ….

Definitely on the rumor mill. I’m completely confident it will be available in the future but not likely in 23. Ford has no reason to push Hybrid sales next year. I wouldn’t mind being pleasantly surprised.

Sorry, in my opinion there is nothing good about having your order pushed to 2023. There is nothing to say that the same delays and Ford missteps won't continue through this new MY. There are plenty of people at the front of the 2022 MY with orders that are still waiting for some word almost 9 months later. 2023 could just be more if the same.

Maybe they'll also throw in a FITS kit for all you 22'ers converted to 23'ers?
Bringing up the FITS kit, is it correct that only the Hybrid orders received them? If so, anyone know why the Ecoboost weren't? Thanks.

For MY 23 they will be giving FITS kits to EB orders when thousands EB’s will go to build South American EB’s out of the same Hermosillo plant - along with continued chip constraints. MY23 will be interesting.

If you have an build date, March 28th, could you still be pushed to a 2023? Lariat, Luxury, 360, hybrid.

Talked to a Ford rep last week and she mentioned that all wheel drive was being explored for 2024 model year. Take that for what it’s worth.

I ordered a hybrid Lariat lux on 10/6/21 and gave up waiting. I'm trading my Crosstrek for a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid tomorrow. If/when the truck is ever built I'll figure out what to do then.

If I get pushed to 2023 model year I am hoping they change the dark navy interior to black or charcoal gray.

You have a first edition. It will be built as a MY22. Otherwise it wouldn't be a first edition.

I believe it was only for hybrids and it was those who ordered by sometime in September. It was because they had a 3 month delay on hybrid production. They should give them to everyone who waits 6 months or more though.

Yes I'm sure parts will still be an issue for the 2023 orders, but at least you know you'll be at the front of the line.
Yeah, in front of the line that never moves forward. but only backward.

I understand your frustration, but the scheduled builds reported by the members here over the last three months clearly shows the order date matters a lot. For hybrids, anyway.
I have a very simple order. Hybrid XLT with trailer hitch, rear slider, copilot 360 and that’s it in Cactus grey. I know copilot 360 is a commodity problem but it never was until very recent. I ordered from a small dealer in New Hampshire and think this is why I’ve been forgotten about. It seems many people from the New England area haven’t had their orders pulled yet.

Yeah, I realize some of you with orders at small dealers appear to be getting the shaft, and it's a bad look for Ford. My only point is the recent trend of hybrid scheduling in this group has been heavily biased toward June/July/August orders. For many, preserving the original order date will make a difference.
