I don't use Auto HVAC. I almost never want that thing blasting on high. Manual, on low all the time unless it's an emergency. And I can always see how things are set up at a glance.Generally, I totally agree about keeping ones' eyes on the road, but I don't get the widespread aversion to the HVAC's AUTO setting. It seems to work well enough, even for knowing when to defog a little, and thus most of the HVAC controls are not "frequently used" for me. In nearly a year, all I've done is adjust the temp between around 66F and 72F depending on season, and it's not like I have to tweak the temperature two degrees URGENTLY, in the middle of an intersection. But everybody has their ways I guess.
Re: audio, there is still a physical volume knob and buttons for track forward/back on the dash, plus the same buttons on the steering wheel that the pre-refresh trucks have.
The volume knob is actually bigger and more "grippy" looking on the '25s.
Doing stuff on a touch screen takes longer which means the driver is distracted longer.
