When I bought my Maverick, the FIRST thing I added was a full-sized T-shape lug wrench behind the back seat and ordered a tri-fold aluminum bed cover (Amazon). Once the bed cover was on (delivered and installed in 2 days), the first thing I put back there was a portable 2-ton trolley jack. Factory jacks and lug wrenches have been garbage forever...going back to bumper jacks...

I have always kept a four-way tire iron in my vehicle. Recently, I got one of these with a Milwaukee socket set. We ended up needing it when our scout trailer blew a tire. It made a huge difference compared to just using a tire iron. I keep it under the back seat with a battery.

All of my batt-op power tools are Ryobi. Love them. Thinking about getting one of these...

My yard tools are 40v Ryobi. Love them. Last summer, late July, I was string trimming along the gravel driveway when the trimmer stopped. I knew I had put a charged battery in it but checked it and yes still 4 lights on. Went to the workshop to investigate further thinking maybe a wire came loose internally. Nope, had voltage to the motor but no motion. Started cussing under my breath and then remembered this trimmer was 12 years old and I used it at my former house to trim sidewalks, curbs, and yard which would use 4 4ah batteries a week to do. Threw it in the trash, went to HD and bought the new brushless much lighter version that works more efficiently. a month later the leaf blower the same age the motor wouldn't stop running so another trip but again much improved version.

I hear your story. I had a B&D string trimmer that required an extension cord. I took it to my mother for the 3 times a year she used it. After Mom pass away I collected the old trimmer and used it when I ran out of fuel or was touching up the side walk. The plastic gave up the ghost and shattered. In my head I was thinking, I bet I can still get those parts. Then I calculated how old it was and determined it was for than 40 years old and how much time I would have in the repair...it went in the trash. The older you get the faster time moves.
