This one has removable sun visor clip also and a flat back. I didn't want anything clipped to my visor.

The kia Homelink mirror is the way to go if you have confidence in doing the mod. I have that confidence and will likely eventually switch to it around the time the battery dies on the remote.

One downside of my simple solution is removal for battery replacement will require using fishing line to cut the adhesive tape in the back. Not sure how to get the residue off yet. The 3M tape is the same tape they use to put on the door keypad so it's durable.

RE: How to get tape residue off = try using WD40 on a clean rag. Be sure to shake the can first, then gently dissolve the residue. Use a white rag on the white material.

What dashcam do you have here? Any guides/recommendations on a DIY install?
It's a 70mai. Ran the wires above the headliner and down the A column to the fuse box behind the glove box. Installed their rear window cam also.
