I did a Google search and this came up.

It says that the rear electronic limited slip is a key feature on the FX4 package. Just curious why it's not listed in the build price ordering guide.

I'm pretty sure Google is wrong...the FX4 AWD is exactly the same as the regular EcoBoost AWD, minus the drive modes that can all be enabled via Forscan.

It's an electronic limited slip in that the traction control will limit the slip so technically, yes, sorta. But it is not an e-locker or any kind of electronically controlled torque vectoring as one might think based on google's AI summary.

Electronically controlled limited slip does not suggest an E-Locker or a physical limited slip. The brakes are applied, left or right, based on detection of wheel slippage. The brakes are taking advantage of how an open differential works.
Oh, and it works.

Never said it was true just posted what came up and was wondering if anyone had any information on it. Here is another article that may have led to the results of a Google search.

https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/products/trucks/maverick/2023-ford-maverick.html#:~:text=Equipped with a 2.0-liter,allow greater off-road capability.

Could be a misprint especially the beginning of the paragraph was the tremor
