I noticed it a little but Michigan roads are so bad it was really hard to tell. Last week I headed up the ramp to I94 and nailed it, it shook like crazy. So it goes in April 4th. Driving it easy no problem. Time will tell.

CV joints, maybe? Motor mounts? Lot's of threads with the hybrid and shudder. Not sure if a reason was ever floated for Hybrid CV premature failure.

Assuming that you didn't add a lift kit and overstress them and are still in the 60k drivetrain warranty, take it to a dealer for warranty work. Its probably the CV joints in your halfshafts. However if you added a lift kit, you're not going to get warranty since you exceeded the CV joint maximum angles.

Common problem reported on here. Often (but not always) around 20K miles

It begs the question, who would put a lift kit on a hybrid? Sort of defeats the purpose of getting a hybrid wouldn't it?

Is it upon acceleration? That’s what mine was doing. It was the cv joints. They replaced everything. Hopefully with something better.

A small lift won't change the MPGs much.
It changes the looks which some people like.
It allows more clearance for those that still need to venture off road.
Etc...

I personally don't think a lift has that much to do with it as the cv axeles have failed on tons of stock Mavericks. It's just an excuse for an issue that Ford should address, there should be no issues with leveling the vehicle with 1" front lift.

Sounds like CV alxe(s). Had both replaced 2 weeks ago at 19k miles on my hybrid.

Ford seeks to justify itself and deny the problems that the Mavericks are having in the CV Axles.

I'm from Mexico. I have a stock Maverick Lariat EB AWD and my Maverick started with the CV axle problem at 3000 km. It started making a knocking noise in the pilot wheel area during parking maneuvers.

In the process I told Ford Mexico many times that the problem was the CV axle and they denied it. He even told me that this was design noise. I helped the dealer to obtain the evidence with a route test.

Two days after my truck was repaired I heard the noise again but now in the transmission area.

I did a test with a glass of water to see if the engine vibration was transmitted to the cabin. And in the videos you can see that yes, I suspect that my problem was due to defects in the supports but Ford Mexico has denied that they are wrong.

Now even if they change them due to the time the truck was being used with problems, it would be very difficult to know what other components are affected.

I am trying to make a return for factory defects.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.
