Free Service / Oil change at 12000 miles

XLT services at 7000 miles at Ford and was aadvised my next pil change would be at 12000 miles : Standard oil change instead of synthetic
i was informed i have two free service within 20,000 miles - i rather do the oil change at 12000 elsewhere rather than at Ford and rturn for
full service at 19000 miles - please comment

If you have a hybrid, the manual calls for full synthetic.

There are many threads where Ford service departments either put the wrong oil in hybrids and/or marked the wrong entry on the service receipt.

Demand the oil that Ford requires for your truck no matter where you go.

Full service good idea as one of the free ones - if they really do the inspections and what's called for at 20K.
Like strength of coolant - not just meeting levels.
Battery charge - not just cables hooked securely.

Get some of that written paper - just in case.

100% you'll have engine problems by 100k miles if you're waiting yo change oil at 12k miles or later and with standard oil? Whew....
