FORSCAN first time connecting

Received the OBDLinkEX and hooked up to the Maverick.

Looks like FORScan found a few yellow triangles.

How do I clear these or do I have to take to the dealer to have cleared?

Would like to change a few things in FORScan that have become annoying.
>Hyperflash on turn signal since I have LEDs installed.
>Turn the AirCondition OFF when starting the Maverick.
..... Every time the Maverick is started, the A/C comes on.
..... Do not need the A/C to come on when weather is warm & windows are down.
..... The fan is on all the time blowing air toward the floor.
>Would like to turn the chime off when the engine is running & door is opened.
And to be able to change other things as they are found out about.

Any help will be appreciated.

You can clear the DTCs in the DTC section on the left (DTC in yellow triangle).

I can't help you right now with the configurations you want because I don't have the 2025+ reference, but if you don't get help with that from other members, I can try to help you. There are plenty of FORScan guides out there for you to refer to on how to operate the software. Also, one of the first things you need to do is find the 2025+ configurations spreadsheet and see which items on your list can be altered.

You can clear the codes by clicking the yellow triangle that says DTC on the left, but keep in mind that codes are not problems......only problems are problems. When the codes end with a 8 in the status byte, it means it is a stored code and not an active fault. See example below from my truck:

As far as the things you want to do: Not sure if there is a way to not have the a/c turn on automatically. You'd have to dig through the HVAC module spreadsheet to see if something stands out that corrolates with that effect.

The AC coming on automatically is annoying. What I do is, every time I use climate controls I shut fan off before shutting engine off. That way AC or heater doesn't come on automatically.
Getting accustomed to screen controls for climate control is one of the problems I have with the system. My older vehicles have screen controls for the entertainment system yet I still have buttons and knobs for climate control and I always turn off AC or heater when shutting motor off. Personal preference. Yet in these Mavericks it's necessary.

Door Ajar Chimes Disable IPC* 720-01-02 xx0x xx-- WORKING
All 12v Power Outlets Adjust Cutoff Time BCM (EZ) "Power Point Timeout Enable", Adjust "Power Point Timeout s" Timeout is calculated in seconds, Factory is 4500s = 1hr15min 5 minutes = 300 seconds
Headlight Switch/Dial Default to "Last Known Position" instead of "Auto" BCM* 726-27-05 1xxx xxxx xx-- Factory coding is "0" WORKING

How does one know what the original 'code' is for any of the Functions?

In the videos it is advised, that each module should be backup each. That I will do the next day after this smoke moves out. Air bad for breathing in Northern Michigan right now.

What is 'Engine Sound Enhancement Disable (2025 only)'?

You don't need to know what the original code is as long as you back up the "as-built" configurations for all of the modules before you start changing code. Keep the backups safe and you can always restore to the factory configuration from them. Then, once you modify code, you can make "as-modifed" backups for the modules you change as well so that you can re-load the modified code at any time.

This disables the sound engine sound enhancement that plays through the speakers on some Maverick models such as the Tremor and Lobo.
