Mine was far from an entry level price. I've spent less for a Nissan and got more for the money.
The exposed wiring poster mentioned is ridiculous. If you work for Ford I understand your comment. Otherwise, why come back with such a stupid comment.
Certainly. Yet, they are no longer 20k trucks. MSRP on mine was nearly 36k. Got several discounts that brought the price down substantially, but still, it was far from 20k
I installed this Mabett cavity cover. Ford left a gaping whole in that area. Doesn't make sense, but apparently there are many shortcuts Ford took on Mavericks.

The back seat is convenient for passengers, dog, and stuff. In the same way my sedan's back seat is. I also have a van with seven seats and most of the time there are only two of us, as well as our dog. My Jeep has a back seat and most of the time, it's just me and the dog. So, now ya know. :)
We had a 62 Plymouth with the push button transmission. It was great until it wasn't. The left side buttons opened up the center console area and was pretty cool. However, the buttons would get stuck and you weren't able to shift into another gear without much persuasion.
I found a 4' x 8' product similar to what you have at Rural King for $20. Don't know if Rural King is in everyone's neighborhood, but it's all over our part of the country.
The material on your mat looks pretty firm. Which is good. Mine might be less firm, but is holding up well to sliding...
LOL... while we do have our share of redknecks, they're a higher class of redkneck. Our boys, and girls, have lights on everything that moves.
Our women folk actually wear shoes in this part of the Commonwealth. 😉
My first Ranger was an '85. We just needed a 2nd vehicle to get to work. I ended up putting a small fortune into it accessorizing. lol
After I sold it I'd see it on the road for 15 years, in the same condition as when I sold it. Makes me think I should have kept it.
It's hard to believe a bumper could be deemed non-essential. I'm not positive, but I think bumpers are required by law in most states. I could be wrong... it happens. lol
Yes, the tailgate plug was another thing I put on. Ford could, or should have included some of these add-ons. I've never purchased a vehicle that had so many issues. Thankfully, the fixes aren't expensive.
My first Ford Ranger didn't come with a rear bumper or radio. So, I guess Ford has a...
Yes, I bought the shock covers, as well. I had an issue with the first set and the company was very easy to work with in resolving the problem.
I forget some of what I've done to my Mav, so, I've had to create a spreadsheet to keep track of it all. LOL What can I say... gotta make it mine. My...
I didn't get the hood struts. Some have had trouble with them hitting the top of the wiper flood jug. I like the tailgate struts: useful for me. My vehicles are always projects when I first purchase them and I don't mind spending the money. One of my latest additions are the dams below and to...
Hello, thank you for your thoughtful comment. Since you took time to respond I'll try to give you an adequate response. "Was it [glove box door]a struggle to open and close?" No. However, my other three vehicles have the dampener on the glove box door. The first few times I opened the...
Hey, I may be late getting in this rodeo, but after I saw this post I checked out my 25 Mav XLT. Mine did not come with the glovebox dampener or stopper. So, I google it and found the part number. Called my dealer 4 times... and apparently they don't want to deal with the issue. After looking...
I stumbled on this group a couple of days ago while searching for mods to my new truck. Thanks for accepting me into the group.
While I like my new Maverick it's got some quirks that I hope this group can help with.
I don't like that every light, display and large screen come on when I open a...
