Go to the Google Play store on your Pixel 2 watch and search Ford. That should bring up the Ford pass app for downloading.
I went to my phone to the app store and the Fordpass app and it gave me the option to install on my Watch. All done. Neat and cool. Thanks!

That's why I never got one. Always used fordpass app anyway. Unlock from phone, shove it in my pocket and go do whatever I needed. This now eliminates the need for pockets... or possibly pants... (I know yall are thinking it anyway.)

Kinda makes the outside keypad useless?
I say yes and no, because for the app to work you need to have connection to Wi-Fi or cellular data. No Wi-Fi or cellular available, no access.

I do as well, but you missed my point of you have to have cellular coverage. So if you're in an area that has spotty cell coverage it doesn't matter.

Don't remind me. I just bought the keypad less than a week ago. Who knew?

Just installed on my Galaxy 4. Nice bonus to unlock if you don't have the key pad although my guess is I have to be in range of my phone for it to work.

I would assume this is the case unless you have a separate data plan for your watch.

Cool that Ford app has some useful feature for free -Toyota put stuff behind a subscription, and it wasn't useful anyways.

My Mav has a hitch vault with a spare key - no watch, cell phone or wireless service needed. Also works when you can't bring your fob, watch, cell, etc surfing or diving or whatever.

I can confirm this works on my Apple Watch as well. Very cool. And I only had to open up the Ford Pass App on my iPhone the first time.

I saw the app was available on WearOS about a week ago and I got so excited. Then I downloaded it and found that it required a screen lock to use it on the watch so I immediately uninstalled it. A screen lock on my Galaxy watch is an unneeded hassle that I don't want and to me it takes away the convenience of using the watch.

II only needed to unlock the watch after a restart. That doesn't seem like a major inconvenience, but that's me.
