Not sure why they don't go with the Pirelli 235.....the ATR is available in a 235/65R17 & 245/65R17 as well. Well, I mean other than trying to upcharge for the wheel/tire upgrade - which you are already getting with the FX4 Package (and I like the black better). Not getting that for the same reason I didn't include the Tow Package, paying twice for only one item I'd like to have (Transmission Cooler) - have the Tow Package on my current truck of 15 years and never used it.
Anyone know what would be involved in a reconfigure/recalibrating for the larger tires (haven't had a Ford since my 1988 Ranger XLT)? The Factory Ford Performance Tune for the Ranger ECU also gave you the opportunity to configure tire sizes. I imagine this will be available for the Maverick down the road.
