Hello has anyone put larger tires on their hybrid maverick and noticed a difference in MPG?

Plenty of people have done it. You will be down a few mpg. Max size without any issues would be 245 65 r17. Though I think 235 65 r17 is better for the hybrid and what I plan on getting. You also want to look at the weight of the tire. Try to stay around 30lbs or less. I believe the stock tires are around 26lbs.

I did wheels and tires on my hybrid. Dropped a total of about 20lbs and am running 235/60/18s that are EV rated and LRR. I didn't notice a change in MPG. The weight savings helps a lot.

I put defender2 235/65/r17 on my hybrid. I don't think that it makes a difference in the mpg, except for the extra weight. They've been great so far. Recommended.
