After over a week of it working, this morning... no connection. Dealer can't see it until the 17th of next month if I want a loaner (and they want to keep it for 2-3 days to examine it.

Question: Last weekend, it did not get driven on Sunday and barely on Saturday. Could this be the '25's version of the battery problem? I've seen it suggested, but felt the evidence (nothing else is having an issue) was against it, especially with the '25 hybrids having an ADM battery (and this issue not being limited to the hybrids).

I didn't think so. I've been sick and did not drive or start the truck for 5 days. I rely I should start it for the sake of the battery and, to my surprise, the remote start worked. I think it is an intermittent connection problem.

25 XLT Hybrid. I had truck for just over a month. First failure of 5G connection was on 2/14. By failure I mean the Ford Pass remote features don't work, but Ford Pass connects to Ford servers. Also the hotspot and won't connect. This is not a signal strength issue. My personal mobile phone runs on ATT 5G network and works fine right next to the truck.

Called Ford and got a BS answer that I need to reset the Ford Pass account. That didn't help. Miraculously it came back online two days later. Failed 2/18. Called Ford again. Got a new explanation and an admission that connection issues were occurring across numerous '25 models including Maverick and F150. There was no action required on my end, meaning don't do any reset, as the problem will self correct. Again BS - problems don't correct themselves. Came back online 2/19. And as of this morning it failed again.

Dealership has no further information.

Called ATT 5G connected services to inquire - they have no clue, or were unwilling to provide or admit any issues.

It's a certified cluster.

My wife just tried to log in to Ford pass and got no response. Maybe server problem?

I am having g the same issue with my 25 Tremir. I called Ford today and they had me try a reset in the truck that did not fix the issue. They escalated the issues and came back with “ they are currently experiencing technical issues across the 2025 model years and it should be fixed in a few days. It is intermittent with no rhyme or reason. Let’s hope it comes back on line. I enjoy using the app for remote starts etc..

Throwing my hat in the ring. '25 XLT Hybrid. Tried several times at dealership to connect App to truck. Connection failed every time. Did factory resets of various settings, deleted/reinstalled app, deleted/added truck back to app. Then when I got home, tried the same things.

Finally got on the phone with Ford and got a case opened after the agent had me again try things above to no avail. Only response from Ford was 'make sure you're trying in an area with good cell coverage.

Decided to drive to an AT+T store parking lot. (Hey, should have a signal there, right??). Same results. Told I will need to wait 3-5 biz days to get an update. I am not optimistic.

Following up on my previous post. Apparently the Ford pass tech was correct. The next day I was able to refresh my location and now the app appears to be fully functional. Hopefully , everyone else’s is working now too.

I too am having issues with Ford Pass and it not connecting to the vehicle. As I type, in fact, the app says I’m parked 15 miles away and still have a full tank of gas. There have been a couple threads about Ford Pass problems lately. I have:
  • rebooted my phone several times;
  • uninstalled and reinstalled FordPass;
  • toggled both Remote Start and Automatic Updates in the vehicle;
  • verified that this issue is not limited to a single device, but is happening with every device I own.

Who did you talk to at Ford?

This is what I get when I try to remote start:

EDIT: Talked to the Ford Customer Relationship Center via chat because I discovered my dashboard was saying I had service actions, and I was curious what they meant since I have 275 miles on the truck. I found out that, "there are several health alerts that state 'Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module).'" Oh goody.
Mine had same issue and remote start worked from app. Not sure that will be your issue. Good luck.

Just keeping track: After what was probably over a week of working fine, my FordPass was nonfunctional yesterday.

Mine wouldn't remote start this morning... Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't..... My 22 was much more consistent with the FordPass app working correctly...

FWIW: I live NW of Burnet Tx 3/4-3/6/25 we had sustained winds up to 45mph with predicted gusts to 70mph. But I had to have had close to 100 mph one of the mornings. The water in one of the commodes was sucked/evaporated down to about 1/4" deep from the wind blowing across the vent. Every once in awhile it will make a Blue man group sound. (The vent penetrates the roof at the ridge so the wind is like blowing over an empty coke bottle!) in any case cellular service has been really weak and I lost my 5g service and lte service appears to be way overloaded. I get timeouts on my cellular Internet about 70-80% of time. The front on the radar was moving about 55mph. I had two patio chairs blow about 300ft and 10-15 limbs broken out of trees.
