I didn't think so. I've been sick and did not drive or start the truck for 5 days. I rely I should start it for the sake of the battery and, to my surprise, the remote start worked. I think it is an intermittent connection problem.

I tried to start then lock the door and leave with the key fob but It won't keep the door locked. As soon as I am out of range, it unlocks the door saying no key present. I haven't tried leaving the key inside and locking, then using the 2nd key to unlock.
