For those that think the Maverick is a little truck, here is a comparison to the new Rivian R1S, which is considered a large SUV with 3 rows of seats that holds 7 people. The overall size difference really surprised me. I hope this video helps.

Rivians can lower their air suspension when they're in parking mode, so folks can get in and out easily. It always makes them look smaller than they are.

Yes, I don't understand what they were trying to do with that front end, but it does look awful. I can't decide if the vertical lights look like eyes or nostrils. I think it would look a lot better if the vertical lights were integrated into the horizontal bar.

Yes, I doubt this Rivian is at the base price of $78k. It was probably 3X the price of my $27k Maverick.
