For 2023 order holders, what’s your plan if your order doesn’t come through?

Agreed, I just don't think the "value" part will hold up much longer -- Ford jacks up the price again and they're going to put me right out of the market for a hybrid value, I'll have no choice but to look at something else. If there IS anything else to look at.

And if we don't get a MY23 you have to reorder a my24. tHE PRICE WILL BE HIGHER. That rav-4 hybrid is looking prety good.

Especially if they add in an AWD Hybrid in 2024. Whenever they add that, they probably crank the Hybrid prices way up since they know they’ll get more than they can produce.

If my MY2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid order does not get built I will just keep driving my MY2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid that I have had for 11 months currently.

We only want the hybrid to tow behind our motor home so we have a place to put our bikes and the bbq/smoker. The EB can not be flat towed like the hybrid can. We did order a 22 EB, (Jan 1, 2022)and was just going to drive it separately from the motor home but somehow the order got screwed up and the dealer would never confirm the COVP went through… so, we ordered a 23 hybrid. If it doesn’t come through, we have been looking at a Jeep Gladiator as it too can be flat towed. Yeah, fuel mileage will suck, but at least they are available. Seen plenty of them on dealer lots. Pretty much everything else can not be flat towed, and I do not want to deal with a tow dolly nor a trailer.

The mix of price, efficiency, towing, and utility is pretty tough to find elsewhere, so I guess I'd keep waiting.

Life can change in an instant, but for now I will wait through the 23MY. If my truck is not built I will go to plan B and look at the Toyota Tacoma SR5.

I have a 2017 F-350 diesel truck and a 2020 Escape hybrid Titanium. So if my hybrid Maverick doesn't get built I'm okay.
If it does get built I'll decide if it a better fit than my Escape which is averaging 41.7 mpg
