Fog lights for Maverick ?

Seems like the soon to be released brackets (by Justin.23) is attached to a non-FX4 maverick, with hooks added after the fact. Anyone have an opinion on using the brackets on a native FX4? Will the integrity that the native tow hooks had be lost?

can't say I have looked under there you see if they were attached any differently.

Now that looks great nice and clean not a big over bearing light tucked in very nice . With respect I may copy your idea but put both clear and amber on my Maverick. . May I ask how you mounted the light s ?? Again very nice

Believe it or not, these lights are the perfect sized to mount onto the vertical rods that support the lower grill. They were essentially "zip tied" tightly to a vertical rod at each end of the light.

The wires were fed through the lower bumper and up into the engine bay. You have to drill a 3/8" diameter hole at either end of the grill frame, which was easy. I power tapped fuse number 3 in the under the passenger dash board. I'll try to take some close ups of the install.

There is a difference in driving lights and fog. Fog lights aren't white.

@Justin.23 Can you keep us updated on these brackets? I'd like to add the FX4 lower valance and tow hooks to my non-FX4 Lariat.

There is a difference in driving lights and fog. Fog lights aren't white.

That is what I always thought too. But then most OEM aux lights are supposedly fog lights and usually white. I think the real difference is in the lens and focal point.

Just a heads up if you are planing on adding tow hooks I saw a video showing the inner structure to actually mount the hooks is not present if it was not equipped... do your own research.
