Led Fog Lights

Looking for some friendly advice.


Since I did not get the fx4 package.... I have these plastic trim pieces in the bumper where the two hooks should be. I was thinking about dremeling out and mounting dual pods on each side. Since there is nothing out yet I was thinking about jerry-rigging the raptor kit from rough country. (The link below to the Pods.) If anyone has a better idea I'm all ears. I know the mounting holes for the tow hooks are right behind the bumper trim piece, so I'm confident I can mount it securely however I decide to do it.

Yes I want to find something to put down there as well. Wouldn't have cost them much to add them.

Well that’s the thing nothing is available now, but you can definitely make a bracket out of some angle iron to mount some pods. The pods could be any brand you wanted. Thinking if I’ll do it I’ll do it right and buy some rigid lights.

Check out Diode Dynamics, they flush mount SAE fog pods.

The lower mount would be fairly easy, but I'd have to find a decent spot for the switch.

Perhaps in the cubby hole.

This is exactly what I am planning to do next to my tow hooks! Glad to finally see an image of it.

anyone try these to see if they can add fog lights this way? Not sure if the bronco sport and maverick share the same bolt pattern on the hood or not.

As much as my hood shakes at speed, I wouldn't want lights mounted to it.

I'd go with something like these which appear to mount to the pillar: JJC A-pillar / Ditch Light Mounts for 2022 Ford Maverick | Etsy

those look like they would work as well. I am just looking for options. I am not wanting to cut the valance panel. I wonder where that one mounts. I don't have my truck yet but I am trying to stock up on the things I want to add. Fog lights is a must.
