Fog Lights…

I have the nod from the Mrs. to get some fog lights for my ‘23 Lariat, but the ones I want from Diode Dynamics (the “Elite” series) are on back order and won’t ship for ~8 weeks. Yikes! So…

Does anybody have a favorite alternative? Gotta buy quick before she changes her mind.

Try a secondary vendor. I ordered my DD Ditch Light kit from RealTruck because they offered free shipping. DD's website said 8-week lead-time and they were charging shipping. I got them in about 10 days thru RT and they were drop-shipped from DD. YMMV, depending on whether or not anybody else has the kit you're looking for listed.

I just checked RealTruck, and the DD Fogs are not listed anymore. That speaks volumes. I think it is time for a phone call to them and get the real story.

I ordered a set directly from Diode Dynamics on 01/06/25 with the same “8 week backorder” message on their site. I emailed Diode Dynamics customer support on 02/06/25 (about 4 weeks after ordering) and was told that there was an “estimated 2-4 more weeks out on this before it is able to ship out.” I emailed them again today and received this response: “It appears this order is estimated to ship within 2-3 weeks from now.” If this holds true, it will have been a 9-11 week back order time.

Thanks for the update. Please let us know when you receive yours, then I'll order mine (and hopefully they'll not be sold out already).

I placed my order on Nov 29, 2024. Just got an email today saying they will out ship today.

I ordered early November. Called them a week ago and was told they just produced the white light ones. Today got an email they have been shipped
