Fog lights for Maverick ?

In NJ we need a front plate too. But half the tesla I see don't have them. I guess they are "special".

They drive as if they are.

I can see why. They look like a good fit for the Maverick.

Unfortunately with the Lariat, the recovery/tow hooks are in that spot.

I am looking at the Morimoto 2Bangers or the Diode Dynamics SSc2 and mounting them in the lower grill.

I have the Morimoto 2Bangers for the Ditch/A-Pillar Light and its a great light, but I do like the backlighting option with the DD SSc2.

Assembled in the USA lol. That meant to me is you can get parts for these lights and they advertise that. If the white, with amber back light, doesn't work out I can change out the fronts to amber. spot, flood or whatever.

Would definitely love to see how this pans out. Please be sure to include us in your modification process. I think putting the lights in the lower grille would require a lot less modification. Problem for me was finding the right-sized official fog lights and since I don't live in an area that gets a lot of fog, it wasn't an immediate priority. However, I am a big fan of having good lighting on the road, so I haven't abandoned my interest. Thanks for your post. Looking forward to see what you can do.

My DIY Option:

I may play around with a heat gun to see if I can get that top edge to flatten out a little. Yes, that is the hitch cover for trucks with no hitch so the platic color is 100% OEM match.

While inperfect, this was done with bumper on the truck. Saved much time and labor.

There’s someone on Etsy selling a fog light kit. You’d have to cut into the bumper though.
