I jacked mine up at the rear of the front suspension cradle. I made a thread on it with a bunch of pics. Here:

I have hybrid. Do you? Maybe you said you did already. If so that would explain maybe why you don't have the horizontal bar I am describing.

My pictures show a horizontal metal structure that goes across the truck and find its
end points below the bolt that attaches to the control arm that your jack puck appears to
be under.

I can't tell but does your truck have the same horizontal metal structure ? If so is your jack puck under that metal beam/structure that is just below the big bolt attached to the control arm? I didn't know the metal structure described would be bent by jack it up.

I guess alternative would be to jack not at the bolt location on the control arm but maybe 3 inches away from where your jack. It just dont know if that area would be flat enough.

I'm all ears. I hope I described it well enough

ok you have ecoboost that's why you don't have the horizontal rail.
Too bad I have one. not sure if i would damage my rail by jacking up on it.
I use to do that I my van, jacked it exactly where you did.

thanks.

First time jacking up Maverick to put on the Summer wheels and it went well. I used the floor jack on the inside and Craftsman jack stand right next to it on the wheel side. Both on the pinch welds. I bought these protectors. Some protection is mandatory.
