I picked up a dog cover from Amazon. It has 8 pieces of wood inserted into pockets to make a hard floor that holds 400lbs. I tucked the panels that go against the door under the flat section.

I like it so far. I never carry pax, so it will work until someone comes up with a nice rear seat delete.

Thx for sharing! I will definitely look into this for my wife's maverick to increase cargo capacity.

I also purchased one of these for my GF‘s 2025 Subaru Forester works great for road trips with our cat - clean flat surface for the cat’s litter box , travel water bowl, food bowl and fleece bedding with room to spare and it folds up for easy storage and fits my 2025 Maverick too…

I like it better than my current solution for keeping toolbags on the backseat. Do you have Amazon link ?

I had removed the rear side headrests so I attached those retention straps to the child seat anchor points behind the seat with quick release carabiners. This was a great way to go for me also because when I obtained the Covercraft seat covers they were for the front only. I like the fold under trick, I'm going to do mine right away!

That's a good idea. I will give that a try. Thanks.

Good habit? Bad habit? Lazy? I dunno...I know I could walk to the back, drop the tailgate cuz I have a teneau cover & throw things in the bed, but what I would put back there isn't usually that dirty. So, the passenger door is right there & it's only temporary. So, this rear seat cover looks perfect; especially since it's a hard floor for my small tool bag, grocery bags, etc.
Question: Is it easy to fold up when I'm expecting "guests" in the rear seat...then I could put the seat cover in the bed...temporarily of course??

Might be great solution to take a nap back there while being on a road trip. How stable is it? Could a person lay down on it?

So, it's the "Medium Size" one listed on Amazon?
I like this as I like having a big lockable space behind tinted dark glass to keep tools. I find the "mini-bed" to be fairly useless and hope a 6' bed is in the Maverick line-up future.
BTW Has anyone simply taken out the entire rear seat to open up space?

Are you hauling for a delivery service or is that all your stuff? I've thought about using my Maverick for gig work outside of Uber and Lyft.
