Rear seat toolbox?

Has anyone found the perfect sized toolbox to fit in the Ecoboost model rear seat storage compartment? I’m trying to maximize the amount of utilized space.

I can't find it, but several months ago someone shared a toolbox that fit behind the backseat- flatter in depth but larger in width/height than underneath cubbies.

Love Harbor Freight, for certain things, too. I have one of their $5 tool bags under the rear seat with my tie down straps and a set of their basic jumper cables behind the rear seat, just in case.

I also carry a medium quality tire plug repair kit and a small, cheezy compressor in my cubby in the bed. No, I don't like to use plugs but once you've been stuck 8 miles back on a dirt road or had a trailer tire to fix, you stop being an elitist about plugs vs patches, etc. I also carry a couple of small pieces of 2X6, makes a great base to jack from on soft sand or to start fires or a half a dozen other emergency options.

I tried that one behind my Hybrid Lariat seat and it didn't fit. So I am putting together a tool roll instead.

I went out and bought this at lunch. I can't figure out how you " strapped behind my Maverick's rear seat". I have a Lariat EB AWD. There doesn't seem to be enough room to accommodate the case behind the rear seat. Can you please post pics of your installation. It does fit under the rear seat.

I have a XLT Hybrid. My box fits behind the passenger side seat back. Does a Lariat have an amp mounted on the vertical bulkhead there under the rear window on that side? My XLT does not, however there's a thin (unused) mounting bracket that I bent in a little to fit the tool box..

Thanks for the reply. Yeah. The Lariat has a bunch of stuff behind the passenger side rear seat. (amp, subwoofer, et al). Oh well, it will have to live under the rear seat. I did see a smaller 60pc tool set that I believe would fit. It included most of the same tools and fittings but no ratchet, vice grip or fasteners. I'm greedy and wanted it all.

My XLT Luxs do not have that amp or speaker. My kit is mounted horizontally where the amp is..

Thanks for posting this ... I'm glad they make the case molded now.
Previously, their cheapest set had just a plastic tray insert for all the pieces.
